Dog Friendly Cottages Cairngorms Guests Can Share

The Grain Store has a warm, spacious, friendly feel, with an open-plan living space made for relaxing. Settle in front of the log-burning stove with a good book or a glass in hand, and look out over the Cairngorms National Park through the 4-metre gable windows.

Pets are welcome here, as they are in all three of our dog friendly cottages. Cairngorms walks start straight from the door, so your dog gets a holiday too.

Underfloor heating, exposed beams and a fully equipped kitchen make it an easy place to stay for a few nights or a week.

A Courtyard Garden

Outside, the courtyard has a picnic table among the flowers, a lovely spot for lunch in the fresh Highland air.

It's also handy for drying off after a walk before you head back inside.

Room for four, with big windows, a warm stove and space to store your bikes and kit.

Living

An open-plan lounge with a log-burning stove and a large picture window, a FreeSat flat-screen TV, wifi and 4G.

Sleeping

Two spacious bedrooms sleeping two each: a twin, and a master bedroom with a king-size bed. Each will take a cot if needed.

Wet Room

An accessible wet room with a shower, and underfloor heating throughout the cottage.

Kitchen and Laundry

A fully equipped kitchen for easy self-catering, and full laundry facilities for muddy boots and wet days on the hill.

Parking and Charging

Parking for two cars, and EV charging at 3.6 or 7kW for electric and hybrid vehicles.

Bikes and Kit

Secure storage for bikes, skis and other sports equipment, with a drying room shared across the steading.

Walks for You and Your Dog

There are miles of paths and tracks to explore across the Glenlivet Estate, and you can join them from the cottage door.

Please keep dogs under close control near sheep, cattle and ground-nesting birds, as the Scottish Outdoor Access Code asks, and on a lead where livestock are about.
